Oof, that’s rough.
The Comrades Marathon is intense enough without emotional heartbreak added to the finish line, but that did not deter one soul from putting it all on the finish line. What followed made everyone wince and pretend to wave at a loved one in the crowd.
But hey, at least you finished the Comrades. Congratulations?
Hope they recover from the race and can laugh about it in a few years.
