A plane bound for London Gatwick carrying more than 240 people has crashed at Ahmedabad airport in the west of India. Flight data shows the plane crashed less than a minute after take-off.
Videos show plumes of black smoke rising from a residential area near the airport after the plane came down.
Horrifying video of the crash has already surfaced online, capturing the moment of impact in unsettling detail, so be warned.
There were 53 Britons on board the Air India flight when it crashed, according to the airline. Of the 242 passengers in total, 169 are Indians, seven are Portguese and one is Canadian.
This the first time a Boeing 787 Dreamliner has crashed.
According to flight tracking website Flightrader, the aircraft had reached 625ft before crashing. Its last signal was received just after it took off.
