If you have music you’d like to submit to be featured, find the author of this post on Twitter or mail us.

1 – Dans Dans Lisa – Gisteraand (Lamb vs Bear Remix)

“We decided on a very ‘less is more’ approach and Deon’s voice compliments the track alot.” – Pic by Leon Wolmarans

Like we have a Bellville music scene down here, these guys are part of the Potchefstroom scene up there. They tell me they wanted to create a real, folky vibe with this track. They used 2 acoustic guitars, a glockenspiel and a friend clapped his hands in the background! After that the guys from Lamb vs Bear did their thing and now you get to enjoy it.

Your free copy of Gisteraand (Lamb vs Bear Remix) can be found here. Also check out Dans Dans Lisa on Myspace, and Lamb vs Bear on Facebook.

    2 – P.H.Fat – Space Thug (Feat. Spoek Mathambo)

“Our favourite colour is green and we sometimes play golf together.” – Pic by

P.H.Fat are three maniacs from Cape Town who make Psychedelic Bass-Rap that smacks hard enough to make you sweat mayonnaise.

The guys have given you a little present – find your free copy of Space Thug here. They also have a Myspace Page.

3 – The Lottery Tickets – Music is Culture

“The future is not what it used to be.” – Pic by Julian Brookstone.

The boys from The Lottery Tickets hail from Somerset West and when not making music they are into fishing, watersports, and fighting with groupies who have “blogs”.

Find their song Music is Culture for mahala here. And their Myspace Page here.
