Three robbers enter a police station,  lock up the officers on duty and steal a whole lot of stuff.   There is no punchline.  This happened in the early hours of this morning in the Eastern Cape.

Three very confident robbers entered Libode police station at 3:30am, disarmed the two SAPS members on duty and locked them in a holding cell.   The men then broke into a safe and headed home with a great haul of firearms, ammunition and cell phones.

“Good grief, that’s ridiculously ballsy.  Are you serious?,” I hear you say.  Afraid so.

According to Brigadier Marinda Mills, the on duty staff were accosted while assisting victims of a truck accident.

The Hawks and the national intervention unit have now instigated a man hunt for the three criminals.
