A six-part reality series about the Duchess of York’s psychological issues was always liable to be slightly embarrassing viewing right?  But no-one expected her to cry so much.  The show, Finding Sarah, has just finished flighting in the UK and it seems Fergie just could not stop tearing up during filming.  Even her poor daughters were caught up in the emotional roller-coaster, when surely all they wanted to do for the rest of 2011 was recover from the royal wedding (outfits) earlier this year.

In the final episode, during which the duchess reportedly burst into tears at regular intervals, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie talked about their mother’s ‘journey’.  A journey which includes Fergie being caught selling access to ex-husband Prince Andrew for half a million pounds, lest we forget.  She also admitted to having ‘poisonous’ spending habits in the show.

The girls are clearly upset about their mother’s recent past – it seems bizarre that the young royals were allowed to feature on the show when the emotions were clearly so raw.  They were also tearful in the last episode, according to reports.

    Sounds like an absolute blast.

Nevertheless, Fergie says she is now ‘fighting like a lioness’ in her attempts to bring her ‘addiction to acceptance and approval’ under control.
