On a family trip from Mississippi to Texas, this loving father of two not only handed his car keys to his eight year old son after a binge on the town, he also passed out while the kid drove. On the highway. Oh, and did I mention that his four year old sister was in the back seat as well?
Luckily some local residents reported the erratically driven car to the police at 06h30, and the father was arrested for child desertion, parent allowing a minor to drive, no child restraint, no seatbelt, and carrying an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
Both kids were also placed in protective care.
What a winner.
