BREAKING: Urgency Granted In E-Toll Interdict Hearing

Judge Bill Prinsloo has granted the anti-e-Tolls lobby group, OUTA, an urgent hearing to argue for an interdict against the implementation of SANRAL's controversial e-Tolls programme, which drew the ire of motorists and labour unions across the country in recent weeks.

Update: Eliseev has since tweeted the following: “For absolute clarity: Urgency granted. Interdict hearing now to be heard. Only then we’ll know if e-tolling goes live or not.”

Judge Bill Prinsloo has granted the anti-e-Tolls lobby group, OUTA, an urgent hearing to argue for an interdict against the implementation of SANRAL’s controversial e-Tolls programme, which drew the ire of motorists and labour unions across the country in recent weeks.

EWN’s Alex Eliseev, and a number of other reporters present, tweeted the news just before 11h40 on Wednesday 25 April. According to Eliseev, this does not mean e-Tolling can’t proceed, only that OUTA’s application will be heard before it does
