Most brands of shades have a folding range these days. In fact, I don’t know when last I bought a pair of shades that didn’t fold, to tell you the truth. It’s just a better life – especially here on the Radlantic Seaboard where one often arrives at early evening events with the sun still up in the sky (the dead of night, if you live in Newlands). So you take your shades with you and you’re stuck when the sun sets. Inevitably they’re too big to put in your jeans, so you end up losing them or breaking them.
THAT, my friends, is the joy of folding shades. Ask anyone who has a pair of folding shades and they will agree it is the ONLY way to roll. I have numerous folding Ray-Bans and was wondering when the Aviators would enter the *ahem* fold…
