The Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and the Black Keys have collaborated on a track for RZA’s upcoming film ‘Man with the Iron Fists’ – a Kung Fu film that he is directing, starring and co-writing (alongside Hostel’s Eli Roth) which opens November 2.
Fuse describes the track as
A swampy, creeping track that re-imagines the desolation and eeriness of an Ennio Morricone track as produced by B.B. King.
The film is produced by another Kung Fu movie fanatic: Quentin Tarantino, and is set in feudal China, starring Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, and RZA himself.
There is so much to get excited about here. Other songs from the soundtrack that have already been released include “Black Out” featuring Ghostface Killah, M.O.P. and Pharoahe Monch, “Built For This” with Method Man, Freddie Gibbs and Streetlife and Wu-Tang Clan’s “Six Directions of Boxing.”
