Oh Reese! Did playing the role of Elle Woods not teach you anything?
19 April saw the arrest of movie star Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth. When hubby was pulled over for driving while intoxicated, Reese felt it was a good idea to disobey the officers’ orders to stay in the car, and instead tried to be a hero. This ultimately resulted in the arrest of both parties.
Since the arrest of the couple, Reese has admitted she was bombed at the time. But today we have the pleasure of seeing exactly what happened that morning with these clips provided by TMZ.
This was our favourite exchange:
Reese: “Do you know my name sir?”
Officer: “Don’t need to know.”
Reese “You don’t NEED to know my name?”
Officer: “Not quite yet.”
Reese: “YOU’RE ABOUT TO FIND OUT WHO I AM!”
After Reese was told to stay in the car and keep quiet, she came up with some pearlers to get out the vehicle, which we can listen to in the video below.

Following that performance, Reese got off with a $213 fine.
