Everyone has experienced it. You’re at a vital part of the game, the stadium is packed and you need a beer. If you leave now, what will you miss? And will there be a queue?
This is a standard conundrum for spectators here, but some sports fans’ misery will be ending in the near future. Supporters of the an Francisco 49ers are being awarded with a Levi Stadium in Santa Clara for the 2014 NFL season. The stadium, which is still waiting to be unveiled, will come with some “built-in tech extras.” An example of these extras includes people being able to go online and make phones calls without the connection being clogged up.
But what does this have to do with beer? Yahoo Sports’ Rand Getlin has reported that there will be an app that tracks the shortest drinks and bathroom lines, so you know exactly where you’re going and when you can go.
Technology in the 49ers new stadium is amazing. Will have an app that allows you to find the shortest beer lines. Mind blown.

App will work for food & bathroom lines. Will play replays, your choice of angle. Stadium WiFi lets you stream NFL Redzone from your seat.
