A recent study in the UK  has revealed that more and more women have decided to go au naturale, while more and more men are okay with that.

Yup. Despite being bombarded with images of pubic topiary whenever Britney Spears or Paris Hilton got out of a cab, it seems as if the trend is now to totally neglect the razor. Even Gwyneth Paltrow admitted that she “rocks a 70s vibe down there” in a recent Ellen Degeneres show.

And it seems that women (at least, British women) tend to agree with her. In an online pharmacy poll carried out by UK Medix, 51% of 1,870 women admitted that they “do not style or groom their pubic hair”, and a further 45% claimed that they could “no longer be bothered to keep up the grooming”.

In the same survey, 62% of the women revealed that their partner “prefers the natural look”.

Whether or not these trends are reflected globally, or in South Africa is yet to be seen.
