The BBC has apologised for playing audio clips of howling dogs, a shrieking woman and yelling men during a radio report on Oscar Pistorius’s trial proceedings. The radio host claimed the sound clips to be due to “technical problems” – sure.
It’s not the first time BBC offered an apology after reporting about Pistorius’s case. In February they played the Jimi Hendrix track, ‘Hey Joe,’ after reporting on Pistorius. ‘Hey Joe’ is a song about a man shooting his “old lady.”
A BBC spokesperson claimed the recent sound clips were a “technical mistake.”
