A 38 cm long massive rat, dubbed ‘Viking rat,’ terrorised a family in Sweden. The family first suspected something was amiss when their cat refused to enter the kitchen in their home in Stockholm.
Viking rat gnawed its way through wood and cement to take up residence behind the family’s dishwasher. Try as they may, the family’s attempts of scaring the rat out of their home were to no avail. It actually worsened the matter – causing the rat to boldly venture into the open.
No one messes with Viking rat.
They ended up calling exterminators, who laid industrial size traps for the mutant rat. The following day the trap was gone.
It didn’t die when it went into the trap, but scurried away. It went underneath a wooden plant, where it got stuck and choked itself to death,” said one of the family members.
Viking rat has since taken up residence in Valhalla and feasts with Odin.
