Sony has unveiled its new Digital Paper tablet. This Kindle-esque A4 sized tablet is only 7mm thick and uses the well-known E-ink technology. You might decide to stick with the old tried and true traditional paper, while you save up for its R11,600 digital brother.
The Digital Paper Tablet is designed for office use. With its A4 sized touchscreen, you can write notes and annotate the displayed documents. It will also be much lighter. Sony is using a new plastic to replace the traditional glass display, making it weigh almost 50% less than it would using glass substrates.
Other features include WiFi connectivity, three weeks battery life and a 4GB internal storage that can be supplemented with micro SD memory cards.
