A remote-controlled quadcopter outfitted with a GoPro camera captured the footage, above, in Fillmore, Calif. It’s a new way to enjoy the dazzling light shows without actually putting yourself at risk.
The footage, presented in dramatic slow-mo, of course, shows the beauty of fireworks from the air versus from the ground.

I really must try that with my Phantom 2 Vision drone (with built in HD camera and GPS for easy flying) the next time there are fireworks. And you know what, I’m not scared of the drone getting hit by fireworks, because that video alone will get me enough ‘hits’ to buy a new drone. Maybe even several drones.
