The Success vs. Failure Stats From Gordon Ramsay’s ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ TV Show Are Not Great Hey

Even with the revival stories on the show, Kitchen Nightmares wasn't able to save many of its featured restaurants.

Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares is good for watching a grown British man scream “you’re f****ng useless” at restaurant owners and chefs; what it’s not good for is keeping them open.

The show, which saw famed chef and generally angry dude Gordon Ramsay go in and help struggling restaurants get back on track, only managed to help less than half of the establishments remain open.

Out of the 77 participating restaurants featured in the show’s seven-season run, only 30 (38.86 percent) of those remain open, leaving 47 failed attempts.

The approximate number of restaurants closed within one year or less of the airing of the episode is 23 (29.87 percent).

Check out the original story on Grub Street to see the full list of which restaurants closed and which are open.
