The current outbreak of Ebola virus in West Africa is a serious concern, with the World Health Organisation (WHO) even declaring it an “international public health emergency” and the “largest and most severe in four decades”.
In just the short time since the spread, there have been 1,711 cases reported and 932 confirmed deaths.
Researchers and a designer have put together an infographic that gives some insight into the virus itself.
