When the time comes around to select your next smartphone, it can be quite a nerve-racking experience trying to pick the right make and model (these things aren’t cheap, you know), but now there’s a way to actually get your hands on a variety of working devices to try out, as opposed to guesstimating with a plastic replica.

MTN has launched its new store at the V&A Waterfront, but this isn’t your typical mobile operator branch, as the massive network has decided to mix things up a bit.

The new digitised shopper experience allows shop goers to get their hands on and interact with different handsets before you make your life-defining choice of smartphone.

In addition to that, there’s also a bunch of other awesome things, such as a self-help option if you feel like doing things yourself, but of course, there’s also the handy store staff to help you through your queries.

To celebrate the new store, there’s a launch special that’s worth taking note of:

You can get the Samsung Galaxy S5 on MTN AnyTime100 for just R469 per month x 24, including 100 anytime minutes, 100 SMSs and 300MB data.

If you’d like to visit the store, it’s located at Shop 6280 at Entrance 5, Upper Level, Victoria Wharf, V&A Waterfront.

Also, remember to tune into the Spicy Afternoon Fiesta with the Dirty Mexican show on 2oceansvibe radio – Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 3pm-5pm, and Wednesday evenings from 5pm-6pm.
