Being a bridesmaid isn’t for rookies – it’s a clinical job that needs to be done with the utmost precision – you can’t just get drunk, you are waiting on the bride’s every need and desire after all.
Jen Glantz, 26, decided to turn her bridesmaid experience into something lucrative, and has become a bridesmaid-for-hire, offering her totes-my-bff services to anyone who may be short one wedding slave bridesmaid.
Jen will help write speeches, inject some fun into the guests and even lift the bride’s dress if need be; but she doesn’t want to be a bridesmaid forever.
“I’m always trying to catch the bouquet,” admitted Jen.
“My mum says I’ll be able to meet eligible groomsmen at all these weddings and she’s thrilled.”
