This guy is not taking chances by falling to prey, and is doing so by hitching rides from large buffalo and rhino.
The Hluhluwe camera traps managed to catch great images of a genet who enjoys the benefits of being small and agile. After taking a buffalo hide Maserati for a test drive, this genet opted for a rhino skin Aston Martin, and is definitely sticking to his choice, having used a few different rhino over a period of nights.
It is truly magnificent when we get an inner glimpse into the secret workings of nature.
The Wildlife ACT is a wildlife-monitoring organisation that focuses on conservation. They help to monitor endangered and priority species within the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. The cameras are triggered by movement and use animal friendly flashes, which is why we get to see an abundance of different shots of the genet and his buddies.
