Full-Figured Woman Loses 17kg After Getting Lost In The Wilderness For 17 Days

An Australian woman has emerged after being lost in the forest for over two weeks, managing to survive on river water, insects and fish.

A woman lost in the Queensland rainforest for over two weeks emerged on Wednesday weighing 17kgs lighter.

Shannon Leah Fraser, 30, went missing after losing her partner during a walk through the forest.

Fraser apparently survived on eating small fish and insects, and drinking river water, although she was severely dehydrated and sunburnt when she was found.

Her partner took her to the hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
