Here Are Up-Close Photos Of The Comet Taken By Rosetta Spacecraft

A lot of planning goes in to landing something on a moving object. Now picture it being 317 million miles away, and doing it by remote. Anyway, they nailed it.

The European Space Agency’s Philanderer Philae lander landed safely on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, and took some awesome pictures.

The mission took 10 years and cost $1.3 billion.
