Lamb Chop Being Launched Into ‘Space’ Goes Viral [Video]

A video of a lamb chop being launched towards space has gone viral. But who is responsible for this, and where did the chop come from?

A lamb chop got pretty close to ‘space’.

Talking about ‘space’, do you think you could braai there?

What if they created a gravity dome for us one day, and we could all just stand around and stare at earth while tanning a chop? Wonderful.

But I digress, the reason this particular chop went viral was because it came from Tayyabs. Where award-winning Pakistani food is a regular choice for devoted fans in East End, London.

Novelist Nikesh Shukla blasted the chop into the stratosphere as a play on words of the title of his latest book: “Meatspace”

Aleem Tayyab, who owns the restaurant along with his brothers, says he was mildly sceptical of the plan.

“At first, we didn’t know what to make of it,” he says. “The staff were extremely confused. But I said, sure – let’s see what happens. It might work.”

Go forth mighty chop. Come back better prepared, well-spiced, marinated and ready to chow…
