Talk about balls of steel. In what can only be described as rather nerve-wracking Lithuanian TV, a knife-throwing contestant has put the loyalty of his assistant to the test.
Gawker.com lists the three closest calls:
1.17 – slightly cuts a finger.
1.30 – almost hits another one.
3.15 – 1-2cm from death
The contestant was unsuccessful in his attempt to reach the competitions ‘super-final’, which begs the question as to how he made it this far in the first place. Perhaps Lithuania should stick to what it is really good at, providing mail-order brides for overweight English men who can’t get any at home.
