Not content with using Kalashnikovs to enact their retribution on Charlie Hebdo’s offices, supporters of ISIS are now using cyber attacks to bully and intimidate the French public.
A number of towns in the Paris area have had their websites hacked, with the front pages displaying pro-ISIS messages. This from the Mirror:
The front pages of the official municipality websites have been covered with the Jihadist militant group’s black flag, play Arabic-language music and feature the message: “The Islamic State Stay Inchallah, Free Palestine, Death to France, Death to Charlie.”
It seems the person responsible is an Algerian national who has also taken down some Israeli websites and posted anti-semitic messages.
Everyone wants their fifteen minutes of fame, I guess. The countdown to the reality TV show ‘So You Think You Can Jihad’ begins now.
