Ask any tourist heading to Australia and they will tell you how excited they are to see a kangaroo. Ask any Ozzie the same question and they will throw a few profanities around together with the word ‘vermin’.
You see, their marsupial mates are regarded as something of a pest by many of the locals, and this video above is a classic example of exactly why.
This cyclist is enjoying a morning ride through Canberra, the nation’s capital, when ‘ol Skippy takes her out. Whilst the woman escaped with some bumps and bruises, the kangaroo came off second best. Mashable reports:
Unfortunately, the kangaroo wasn’t so lucky, jumping off to its untimely death on a nearby road after getting hit by a car, the woman said
Ah well, at least their sheep seem in good spirits.
