The idea of plummeting 12 000 feet (about 3.5 km) from a plane with a backpack and a GoPro is not something that really tickles my funny bone, but people the world over keep on going back for more.
Now fans of skydiving across the globe might be having second thoughts after a video has emerged of a man suffering a seizure mid-air. All ended well though as the jumpmaster managed to catch the unconscious man, known only as Christopher, at a height of around 4 000 feet and deploy his ripcord.
Very little is known about the incident,. although some Reddit users have speculated that the jump took place in Western Australia. This from Mashable:
One Redditor recognized the jumping site as WA Skydiving Academy in Australia. This information appears to match up with the logo on one jumper’s suit, seen at the beginning of the video.
Watch the video up top for your daily dose of heroism.
