When You Take A GoPro To Space [Video]

Yes, you GoProed your whitewater rafting/mountain-biking/water slide/festival jol but whatever footage you came back with can’t really lay a finger on footage from outer space now, can it?

NASA proved their street-cred once more when they strapped GoPros to two astronauts, Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Terry Virts, and sent them out to do a little work. Mashable reports:

The spacewalks aimed to reconfigure the ISS [International Space Station] for the arrival of future commercial crew and cargo vehicles, as well as to conduct other maintenance measures.

The full video clips, one of which comes in at over an hour, can be viewed HERE but up top is a slightly more condensed version of events.

I guess the days of regular commercial space travel are getting nearer and nearer. I can think of a few people I wouldn’t mind watching getting blasted into the cosmos, although a one-way ticket would be preferable.
