As a child, everyone fears the trip to the dentist. The sterile smell of the office, the friendly dentist about to use a pneumatic drill on the inside of your mouth – it doesn’t make for a pleasant affair.
As an adult, we can at least bask in the glow of that gas that knocks you the hell out, but for kids it is something of a less attractive proposition (you are familiar with David, yes?). We commend parents that take a different approach, and I would hazard a guess that no one has used this method of tooth removal before.
Meet Olympic gold medallist Bryan Clay, who used his talents to help yank out his daughter’s tooth. This from Mashable:
A video, posted by Clay on Twitter Tuesday shows the athlete assisting his daughter Ellie with a DIY tooth extraction. Clay tied a piece of floss to his javelin and the other on the loose tooth and he let it rip.
The young lass handles it pretty well so props to her. We suggest the Tooth Fairy is generous in the amount she leaves under Ellie’s pillow, she’s earned it.
