The World’s Largest Photograph Is Utterly Breathtaking

Here's something that could very well blow your mind on this winter's day, and a good thing it's a photo of a snowy mountain because right now pictures of sunny beaches make me cry.

You know that last #selfie you took at 3am yesterday morning after that epic party?  It has absolutely nothing on this baby:

That there is the world’s biggest photograph, weighing in at a whoppingly impressive 365 gigapixels (slightly bigger than said #selfie).
Capturing the mountain in its entirety, the photograph required 35 hours of continuous shooting to capture the 70,000 pictures that make up the portrait.
Here are some fun facts about the photo of Mont Blanc in the Alps:
THIS is the previous record holder for biggest photograph in the world. It is 320 gigapixels.
It took a team of five people two weeks in temperatures of -10°C.
They used this equipment: a Canon EF 400mm f/2.8 II IS, a Canon 70D DSLR and a Canon Extender 2X III
It took a further two months of postproduction to stitch together the 46 terabytes of material, resulting in an image that would be the size of a football pitch if printed in 300dpi.
Click HERE to experience the photograph (it actually is an experience – you can zoom in so close that you can practically see individual snowflakes).
