What a time to be alive, good people, let the corrupt officials quiver in their boots.
As the noose tightens around Sepp Blatter’s neck let’s remember him quitting his post is not a noble deed, it is the desperate act of a rat trying to abandon a sinking ship. Allow me a mid-90’s movie reference here and let me say that his ship is ploughing towards an iceberg of corruption, a monument to greed so deep-rooted in the organisation he led for 17 years that, like a naughty teenager, we know only the tip.
