You might not think that website developers and race car drivers have much in common – after all those two jobs seem rather removed from one another don’t they?
Sometimes, however, the two are one and the same. Our mate David Perel from Obox (the guys who designed our site) just happens to be one hell of a racer, so much so that he is currently racing as part of the Lamborghini Bonaldi Motorsport team.
We brought you his behind-the-scenes look at the Italian GT Championship back in May, David nabbing first and second in the two races he participated in. Now we can show you what it looks like to race in the rain at speeds of around 250 km/h, the man himself sending us this footage from the Spa Francorchamps in Belgium.
Quite how he can see what’s cracking, let alone navigate the bends is beyond me. I guess that’s why the folks over at Lamborghini never came knocking at my door…
