One of  my favourite things to do is look at how spaces have been designed. Whether it’s inspiration for my tiny bedroom, or a folder containing a collection of images of slick kitchens for my future home, the images show you how to be innovative all the while channeling the unique aspects of you.

It’s like when you choose a location from which to run your business: it’s a valuable reflection on what your company is all about. As soon as your client enters the front door, you want them to feel the essence of the company – and whether you’re in San Fran’s Silicon Valley or Cape Town’s Woodstock Exchange, the choice is an important aspect of your business’s identity.

If you don’t believe me, then take it from the world’s biggest companies who own all the bragging rights on the coolest office spaces.

Check out Airbnb, who turned a giant warehouse into an open-spaced office with each room designed to make you feel at home by replicating real Airbnb listings – or Warner Music, who placed aspects of their brand in subtle ways throughout the office by using the colour, history and lifestyle as inspiration.

Offices are been turned into places that resemble home because, after all, home is where the heart is.

So, if you’re a bit lost for space at the moment, then dude, get with the programme. The Woodstock Exchange, right here in the beautifully evolving Woodstock, is the perfect way to tell your clients that you got game. Get a space at The Bureaux – a sure-fire way to make sure you surround yourself with good people and great design.

For just R1 500 per month you can get your own desk space that comes with cleaning, security and uncapped high-speed internet – and the chance to make the space your own. And if you need a little more inspiration, check these spaces out. Delicious.
