What a song to get us going on this beautiful Friday. A sweet offering from a collection of highly-acclaimed creatives, Emma Stone is not the only shining star in this delightful music video.
The track is by Will Butler, off his new solo LP, Policy. Will Butler, if you didn’t know, is a multi-instrumentalist and member of Arcade Fire. Directed by Brantley Gutierrez, Emma’s divine dance moves are choreographed by Ryan Heffington – who handled the dancing in Sia’s “Chandelier”.
Emma plays a bored rich girl who saunters unassumingly through Queen Mary’s grand corridors. Gradually, as the song funks out, Emma and the crew’s moves get a little more outrageous and deliberate. Eventually, Emma gets the crazy eyes. It’s wonderful.
