Here’s Bloomingdale’s Ad Encouraging Date Rape

Check out Bloomingdale's latest, tastless, ad, proving that some copywriters are quite unaware of what's actually wrong in society.

Although we’re not sure who plays the role of the spiker and the spikee in this situation, either way Bloomingdale’s ad is very problematic. It states:

Spike your best friend’s eggnog when they’re not looking

Ummm, spike? Not cool.

After it was posted on Imgur last Thursday, the image went viral.

Twitter users’ obviously took to the cause, calling it “disgusting” and “creepy”.
