The first thing you’re going to need to enjoy this video is an understanding of the Whisper Challenge game. Basically someone puts on a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, loud music pumping through them, and has to guess what the other person is saying using their lip-reading skills.
As you might guess most of us are absolutely useless at the game, including this grandfather up top. It takes a long, long time for the penny to drop but when it does one might say the old man is rather stoked with the news.
For a point of comparison here’s Rebel Wilson with the man who made the game famous, Jimmy Fallon himself.
Turns out they’re pretty rubbish too, maybe we should cut Gramps some slack.
