I have a sneaky feeling that if you teleported the top knots and man-bun wearing hipsters of today back to the 1950s they would get some odd looks. Not that they don’t today, but if you run through a history of popular haircuts it’s clear that the times they are a-changing.

Some are more memorable than others – the Elvis, the ‘fro, the ever-popular mullet – one feels these will always stand the test of time. Those spiky frosted tips though, the only place you’re going to find such a ‘do is on a Bulls rugby player.
