Yup, Tay-tay’s bestie has over taken the once reigning Instagram queen with around 69.9 million followers – just .6 million more than Taylor Swift.

Kim Kardashian is in third place with 63.8 million, Ariana Grande has 63.3 million followers, Beyonce has 63.2 million, Justin Bieber has 61.7 million and Kylie Jenner has 54.4 million.

So why is Selena Gomez’s Instagram so popular? Selfies, skin and celeb cameos – but she also comes across as a bit more real than any of her other celeb buddies.
