‘Violent Felon’ Set To Inherit Prince Fortune (It’s Not The Sister)

Die without a will and all of a sudden everyone is related to you. The latest twist in the Prince saga isn't really what you want to hear though.

If we have learnt one thing from the death of Prince (other than how everyone was suddenly a huge fan and had to post an emotional message on social media) it’s that when there’s will money involved the floodgates shall open.

A while back it was believed Prince’s sister was the sole heir to his millions (HERE), although ‘an aspiring rapper and gun-running felon in federal prison’ claims he could be the rightful heir.

He’s not alone in that claim, a multitude of people coming forward in the past few weeks trying to get their paws on some easy money, but this one might have a little meat to it.

Over to the Daily Beast:

[Carlin Q.] Williams’s mother, Marsha Henson, claims she had sex with Prince at a Kansas City, Missouri hotel in July 1976, court records show. Williams, whose hip-hop moniker is Prince Dracula, was born April 8, 1977…

Indeed, the Kansas City rapper has long insisted he was Prince’s son. On Facebook, a profile belonging to Carlin Qar-Tune Williams states he’s the “son of (Prince) Rogers Nelson ‘aka’purple rain man from Mn.” Williams, according to Facebook posts, has a son named “Cartoon Williams.”

Meanwhile, in a September 2015 post, Williams posted images of a child—along with one black-and-white professional image of Prince—with the words “My Family And My Dad.”

Due to the fact that Prince died without a will, which seems like some very poor planning, Williams stands to inherit the $300 million estate according to Minnesota law.

So what kind of person is this Carlin then? It ain’t pretty:

Court records paint a vivid picture of Williams’s troubled past: his rap sheet includes convictions for domestic violence, drug possession and distribution, and unlawful use of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was charged with driving on a suspended license, fleeing law enforcement and possession of a stolen vehicle in multiple separate incidences.

Six years ago, Williams—who was convicted of charges stemming from at least two incidences of domestic violence—forced his way into a woman’s home, pushed her to the ground, and assaulted her with a hot curling iron. A year later, according to court documents examined by The Daily Beast, he dragged his then-girlfriend “up several stairs, held her captive and then chased her down the street with a knife threatening to kill her.”

As everyone awaits the results of the DNA test you’ll have to excuse me if I don’t root for Williams landing that cash. Sounds like a real douchebag to me…
