There’s an app that tracks animal sightings in South Africa’s Kruger National Park. Cool, right?
Not so much.
Eliminating the element of surprise, the mobile phone app has now caused road rage, roadkill, and speeding as tourists rush to see the animal sightings added to it.
You know guys, there are many interesting aspects about the Kruger other than the Big Five.
Now, SANParks is looking at a way to restrict the app as it has…
resulted in an increased rate of lawlessness in the Parks including speeding, congestion at sightings as well as road kills caused by guests rushing to and congregating around these sightings.
A number of visitors have complained about the app, saying that it has ruined the experience of exploring the park and searching for wild animals living undisturbed.
Why do humans have to destroy everything?
