If you are still a music-chart enthusiast then you may be aware that Drake has been on fire. The musician has held onto the number one slot in the British singles chart for the longest running time in nine years, and he wasn’t giving it up without a fight.
However, those headlines have been completely eclipsed by the fact that Rick Astley is not only back, but that his single went to that number one spot.
Remember ‘Keep Singing’ released back in April? Watch that gem HERE.
Beating Tom Odell and Paul McCartney, Astley gained the number one spot with just 700 more chart sales.
Suspicion links his achievement to the older generation, who are unlikely to be able to download a song and have to go buy the CD instead.
Kidding, he just knows that you should never give up.
