There was a time when organising your liquor cabinet was a case of hand to mouth – buy the drinks you need for the weekend, drink them, do it all again next week.

Well those days have come and gone, because every self-respecting adult is rocking some kind of functional cabinet with a few different treats. That’s perhaps most true when it comes to wine, because no one likes to be caught drinking the dregs at the back of the rack.

Here’s another newsflash – heading to the shops and loading up your trolley is considered old school now, get with it yo.

These days we’re all about the convenience of a few clicks online, and when we’re dabbling in wines we’re sticking to Cybercellar.com.

Why’s that, you ask? Well to start customers are getting cellar door prices, the type of price you usually only get when you’ve schlepped to the wine farm itself.

But fear not spirit and ale fans, because near the end of 2015 they began adding spirits as well as beers to their portfolio, which now lists over 3 500 products.

Imported whiskies, craft beers, tequilas and craft gins – sorted.

And what about delivery costs, where many local online retailers add the sting to the tail? Not so much, because for orders under R1 000 there is a delivery charge of R49.50.

Orders over R1000? Delivered FREE, anywhere within South Africa, with the average time from order to delivery being two to four days depending on your region in the country.

If you live in Cape Town and that doesn’t cut it then nab the new express delivery service, where your items are delivered in three hours or under for a charge of only R99.

    Last minute for the win.

We’re going to get you started with something tasty in the basket too, because you know how much we care. Check it…

A buffalo off your first purchase – BOOM – but get cracking, because that deal expires July 14.

Just to be clear that’s a capital ‘O’ (as in Oscar) after the 2, and that number at the end is zero716. You got this.

For the less technically gifted here’s how you use that voucher:

If you’re wise you’ll keep a close eye on the promotions page too (HERE) – just check what is on offer at the time of writing:
