I tend not to judge anyone who leaves the house on a Sunday, because my day usually entails riding out a hangover and trying to work out if I owe anyone an apology for my behaviour the night before.
So well done on venturing out yesterday into the winter sunshine Sea Point peeps, although the promenade wasn’t the usual mix of joggers and couples enjoying a stroll.
Rather there were hundreds of Pokemon Go players, glued to their phones and dropping Lures to catch them all. It was an event arranged by Pokemon GO Cape Town, who have a Facebook group with close to 800 members HERE.
A little video to sum up the scene:

How about this outfit?
And a photo to show the pockets of players strewn across the lawns:
And then this, the cherry on top that sums up the Great Gyrados Grind Event:
A harmless bunch of people out and about enjoying their Sunday – you don’t have to like it, or even understand it, but you best get used to it.
