    Thanks to the ever-present social media, all the nuances of those competing in the Rio Olympics have made their way to the masses. The most interesting of these is the glimpse into each competitor’s personality.

    And we’re going to introduce you to the best.

    At just 20 years old, Chinese swimmer Fu Yuanhui placed third in the semi-finals of the 100m backstroke on the second day of the Olympics.

    But she thought she had placed fourth – until a TV presenter told her otherwise.

    Just watch her reaction:

    I mean, if I had used up all my mystical energy I would also be pretty stoked! But the thing is, that’s just the way she is.

    She later went on to win bronze in the 100m backstroke – and celebrated no doubt:

    And Fu Yuanhui has always celebrated in this way.

    Last year she went full on goofy when her team won the relay during the 2015 FINA World Championships:
