They Took A Fidget Spinner To Space And This Is The Result [Video]

There was once a time when the world watched on with baited breath, superpowers racing to put on a man in space. Now, in 2017, this is what it's come to.

Apparently fidget spinners are still a thing, and they’ve now crossed over into space travel.

I suppose you have some to kill when you’re living aboard the International Space Station, or at least astronauts Mark T. Vande Hei, Joseph Acaba, Randy Bresnik, and Paolo Nespoli did.

So how does a fidget spinner react when spinning in zero gravity? Over to the spacemen:

How about that beat? My favourite bit is where the guy pops a 360-spin around the 14-second mark with a giant grin on his face.

Side note – check out NASA’s climate date project for a good laugh.
