  • Someone Just Trolled Markus Jooste’s Wikipedia Page

    Troll alert!

What a kak time Markus Jooste must be having.

His name has been trending this week, after he royally buggered up multinational company Steinhoff by lying about various financial elements.

As a result, construction on his Hermanus house was halted this morning and someone decided to mess with him by lovingly editing his Wikipedia page.

We’ve seen this kind of behaviour before: Oscar Pistorious was called an “international po*s” for obvious reasons and Chad le Clos was given the nickname “Michael Phelps Pool Boy” after losing to him in the 200m butterfly. Eina.

And Jooste? After being edited over 50 times today, there is more than one curious addition to his page

We spotted quite a few. Pay attention to the box on the right as well:

Curious about the Omunye Phez’ Komunye reference? A Zulu phrase meaning “it’s too packed one was on top of the other”, you better believe it comes with a link to a Gqom album.

But these aren’t the only edits.

According to Times LIVE the page is being continuously changed and then edited back again and at one time, under “Early Life”, said:

Jooste has a degree in money laundering from Stellenbosch University aka Stellenbosch mafia.

I’m sure this one will change throughout the next few days, and you can pop past his Wikipedia page HERE to see for yourself.

    Okay, I’m out.
