There’s a 100% chance that Zapiro is wearing a sizeable grin right now.

The satirist has done battle with JZ since way back when, with the former president (good ring to that, hey) suing him for a cool R5 million back in 2010.

Now, with the curtain closing on this chapter, Zapiro has delivered the knockout blow.

We’ll backtrack to yesterday’s effort on the Daily Maverick, though, which also deserves a mention:

That message was finally received loud and clear, and Zuma delivered his resignation late last night.

All of which led us to this morning’s cartoon, simply titled ‘The End’:

I’m sure he isn’t done with his favourite punching bag for good, but for now the lights might have gone out.
