Some people don’t handle flying very well, but even with that in mind you’d have to think that this incident involves a more serious mental health issue.

On a flight from San Francisco to Boise, Idaho, a first-class passenger went rogue. She was filmed shouting “I am God”, as well as trying to open the emergency exit door mid-flight.

Eyewitnesses say she also shouted “I want to die! Get me off this plane!”, although that was not captured on film.

First up, here’s footage from the plane. Sorry, you might have to put up with an ad first:

According to Huff Post, the plane was not diverted. When the plane touched down in Idaho, she was handed over to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for evaluation:

“She wasn’t acting right or normal from the very beginning (of the flight),” passenger Scott T. Smith told the Idaho Statesmen.

Smith initially thought the woman was just a nervous traveler, but it soon became apparent something else was wrong as she kept repeating phrases such as “God has all the data,” “I don’t have any data” and “We landed in Boise 15 minutes ago.”

Smith said people remained calm during the incident.

“I was never that concerned,” he said.

God has all the data? I think I’d be pretty concerned. Let’s just hope she gets the help she needs.
