If you thought the great white shark reigned supreme at the top of the underwater food chain, you would be wrong.
Over the course of 2017, a number of great white sharks washed up dead along the Gansbaai coastline, and those in the know soon came to suspect that a pair of orcas (or killer whales) was behind the attacks.
We covered the suspected antics of Port and Starboard here, if you’re playing catch up.
Over in the US they love themselves a little Shark Week, with all the dramatic music and drama to boot, but there’s still plenty about the Discovery Channel’s segment that’s worth a watch.
